Catherine has completed over 100 board effectiveness reviews.
Since 2011, she has served on several boards in the energy and financial sectors. At present, she is a non-executive member of the Board of a Ukrainian bank, where she chairs the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
She started her career at the Bank of England as a Research Analyst and Banking Supervisor.
She was a partner at PwC, where she worked for 12 years in Moscow and Berlin. Initially, she advised financial-sector clients on organisational effectiveness and risk management before building a practice specialising in HR effectiveness and remuneration.
After PwC, she was a partner for 11 years at Independent Audit, a specialist board reviewing consultancy.

Veronica has over 10 years’ experience working with boards. Her clients include both public and private sector organisations, ranging from utilities and construction companies to insurers and academy trusts.
Before becoming a governance consultant, she was an assistant director at the Department of Business, specializing in trade policy and stakeholder engagement. She advised government ministers and implemented communication strategies targeted at the business community.
At the start of her career, Veronica was as a journalist in the BBC World Service, producing current affairs programmes for a global audience.
